Hi! Thanks for asking. We have found, as Farmers, that Sweet Potatoes don't grow well in our soil in this part of Michigan. So, we don't sell them at Walker Farm. You might be successful growing them in a raised bed with more controlled soil environment. But, because we sell mostly what we grow here, we don't have them available to the public.
If they don't it is very easy to generate your own sweet potato slips. Even from grocery store varieties. Put 3 or 4 tooth picks around the midsection of a sweet potato. Put them pointy side down into a glass of water. And 3 to 4 week stay should grow roots into the glass and smalle green buds will form on the top outside the water. These green buds will form shoots. When the shoots get about 6" long clip them from the potato and put them in their own glass of water. Roots will grow on the bottom. When the roots are forming well You can remove them from water and plant them outside in loose soil or in a pot so they can strengthen up a bit more Before transferring to your garden.
