I dropped off my passport for a replacement SSN card two weeks ago. I was supposed to get a call back to pick up my passport. How can I contact the office to get status. Office is closed for Covid and nobody is picking up the phone.

They are not closed, but most employees are working from home. I was there 2 weeks ago, and it is open. You should go there.

I believe that it is not close but they limit the appointments. I made an appointment for new card on Octomber and got a date on mid November. I went there and submitted the documents in-person. However, it is not easy to contact them via phone. You have to keep calling them.
