The wait can be lengthy. They do, however try their best to make up for the wait by placing your order so your food will be ready by the time they seat you.
Basically there is a small wait, on the weekends they do ask for limit of 4 per party, due to size of the restaurant and trying to accommodate everyone..Check out their website for exact and further details..Thanks for asking, and be sure to Like and Share the page.
We went during the week and were seated promptly.
After traveling to Chicago on a Saturday night from Cleveland to check out this recommended restaurant, we were disappointed. Street parking was too far from the restaurant. Once inside, we waited for 1 hour to be seated with no place to really stand while waiting. All 4 of us did not like our food --- everything we ordered was waaay too salty. None of us could finish our food (chicken, catfish, salmon, greens, mashed potatoes) because of the level of salt in the food. I'm diabetic and I have high blood pressure. I do NOT recommend this restaurant if you have problems with standing long periods of time, or if you have diabetes or high blood pressure!
Place is very small, wait times horrible, and nowhere to really stand to wait. The host was not organized. He used a notebook to write people name down for the wait list, but he wasn't consistent with writing everyone's name down. He wasn't using the list when seating people either. After awhile he wasn't sure of people place in line. My food was cold. I ordered the blacken fish which was good, the dirty rice was way too salty. My husband ordered the salmon and mashed potatoes that was great! Food overall was okay. This place was too small for me and the white leather seating along the wall is uncomfortable because they were too short and low to the ground.
When we were there it wasn't a wait because we went during a week day. However it's worth the wait.
Never been here but i plan on coming for my birthday. Is there enough room to seat at least 16 people ?
Are there parking available?
