We've never landed more than a block or two away... You just have to be willing to circle until you find something!
On street, free if available.
As a first time visitor, parking can be confusing. You can park indefinitely on any street that doesn't have a parking sign, try Mountain or Fernon St or 4th. A lot of the others have two hour limits. So just be sure to look for a sign.
Street parking isn't bad for the area at those times!
South Philly street parking, the times I've gone I've parked fairly close.
