There is no fee for Fossil Park. The park is open daily but only staffed on the weekends from 11am to 4pm. No metals tools are allowed. Visitors can keep all fossils that are found.

Absolutely free and you and your kids will have a ton of fun...take garden shovels and a hand rake those 3/4 pronged hand things...they will help you find good stuff... Good luck and be safe....

Correct, there is no fee for walk-ins from the public. However if you are a school field trip, it needs to be scheduled ahead of time and it is $2 a student.
