Noticed my dog had blood i. Her stool tbis morning. I read it could be many things including intestinal parasites. My husbad and i just mobed here from California and have not found jobs. We cant afford a $500 vet bill. Is there an alternative?

We had a similar problem with our cat; blood in urine. They gave her a shot of vitamin B and i think antibiotics. She was better in less than a week and it only cost a little over $100.

Gina. What color is the blood and how many times has this happened? What's your dogs other demeanor like?

If she still has blood in her stool I would take her in, blood in stool is never a good thing. If it was just a 1 time thing and you haven't seen it since you're okay not to take her in.
