The Contemporary service is more casual and uses a praise band to help worship, including drums, guitar, keyboard, and piano. The Traditional service is more formal and uses the choir and hymnal to help worship. The message by Pastor Joe Jacobson is the same in both services.
Contemporary music is modern and Traditional is songs from the hymnal.
During the Contemporary Service a Worship Band (drums, guitars, keyboards...) is used to lead the Praise music. It is a less formal atmosphere. During the Traditional Service some liturgical elements to worship are incorporated (Apostle's Creed, Responsive Readings...) and the worship music is usually hymns from our pew hymnal accompanied by the organ/piano. The message given by Pastor Jacobs is the same for both services.
