I believe Mr. Ritenour donated the land for the first school. Class of 1948
Mr ritenour and his wife are interned at fee fee cemetery but mr.ritnour has no headstone but his wife does
The name was chosen in honor of J.S. Ritenour, a prominent land-owner in the area who died on March 29, 1867.
