I live in Herrin Illinois all the Pepsi bottles I've been buying lately have syrup all around the top of your bottles . Is this at the Bottling plant are is it the delivery ?

more unlikely the bottle washer stop working for a moment and nobody caught her when I worked there there was running 650 bottles per minute does not take long to accumulate quite a few sticky bottles also if the CO2 injection was too high bottles get all the way to warehouse and start exploding generally do a pretty good job of making sure it gets cleaned up and off the bottles

It's between the bottling and the employees handling the product. Some just don't care and if something is spilled on product it doesn't get cleaned properly and is just shipped as well as a portion being in delivery.
