I do, it is from the day old and it has been out of the wrapper and the oxygen maks it look darker, there is nothing wrong with it they just put fresh on the out side. I have never gotten any bad meat from Bill's. In fact I buy the day old ground beef, it still good. They put it in the cooler over by the brats. I take it home weight it in 1# pks flat out in a quart zip bag and stack it in the freezer.

Ive never had that problem. However-you know they add the red color to meat? Its not naturally red so that doesnt matter.
Don't know always buy the specials you can't beat the meat specials they have and I cook them right away even if I'm not going to use it I can freeze it but after purchase if I wait too long it does spoil
