Call for a ranger before you head there. No one's usually already available at the park
I kayak there a lot and have never seen a ranger. .I would give them a call. I bet they would happy to help you out.

Yes, definitely call to have a ranger assist you. It is a beautiful lake and i have kayaked there several times. I know your going to love it.
I would call the parks department and ask. They don't monitor these. Visitors answer these questions on google.
