Are small dogs allowed on the patio?

Never seen one there and probably not permitted

I've never seen a dog on the deck. I get the feeling they consider the deck as 'in' the restaurant.

We were there on August 4th and the party next to us, on the deck, had a small dog. It was on one person's lap and then sat in the bench between two people.
