I was wondering if the humane society would take used collar and toys.I change my dogs collar frequently and have quit a few that are still useable.Also my dogs are picky with there toys and some they never even played with.I just figured I would try to bring some joy to the abused and abandoned fur babies instead of just throwing them out
Not to take away from the rescue, but how bad is your son? Some animals can't deal with people who are different. I think you should consider calling the foundation of autism and find out the best dogs for your child and then search from there. All a dog needs is to have a forever home just to be returned to the Humane Society again. but don't get me wrong Missy Houghton is the boss of the Humane Society. She would probably know what kind of dog was so supposed to be good for autism and good to cats but there's also other types of dogs autism Foundation could tell you the best kind find
