Its $10 dollars to take the written test. You dont have to make an appointment, either way is fine. Btw, you have to take and pass two, 20 question tests. The first one is more abt road signs and the second one is more focused on the laws and general knowledge of the road. They dont tell you that but yeah. One more thing, make sure you bring your school ID.
