It's amazing just be prepared to spend. Don't go if you're trying to keep in a budget. Splurge have fun
Bones is honestly pretty good, but just like many other restaurants, it has items that are better than other restaurants, as well as a few items that just don't seem to meet even a mediocre standard of quality. For instance, their dry-age bone in ribeye is absolutely superior in quality and taste. I rate it a 9 on a scale of 1-10. However, their Maryland Style Lump Crab Cake is of poor quality in the way that it's made and the way it taste. It IS NOT a jumbo lump crab cake and don't expect to see any lump meat in it. I rate it a solid 2 on a scale of 1-10. Their side dishes are average at best. They have collard greens that seem pretty tasty for a restaurant and their mashed potatoes are nothing to shout about. Bones does have their unique dessert treat, which are shortbread cookies that are shaped like doggie treat bones. Those cookies are the bomb!!! They get 10 stars on their cookies alone.
I went on August 1st for my 32nd birthday and I loved it. Made reservations in advance and was seated right away. Table were seated according to social distancing policy. The food was delicious and sides are served family style so don't order much.
My first time there last night. Customer service is excellent. Do not order seafood. We got the chilled seafood platter appetizer at 33 dollars each. Lobster, king crab legs and shrimp - all my favorites. Not one of those had any distinctive flavor. I ordered filet oscar. Again pass on the seafood. Steak was cooked to order and delicious. Way overpriced for what you get though. Will not be going back.
Its great a little pricey but well worth it!!
What a excellent restaurant I have been going to Bone's for 10 years
