First of all the bread machine or mixer needs to be moved to a back room. I am sure it is above the noise limit with what you call lunching melodies plus people talking. Please check on this. Food is improving.

I have never had a problem with noise neither cooking nor those eating. This includes a Sunday lunch when the restaurant was quite full of patrons or evenings at dinner. I have never seen a ' bread machine' that I noticed in plain site!!!

Not sure I ever heard a mixer... And depends on what time you go if you want less noise.
