Many times customers overfill the oil and that will cause oil to leak from the muffler and the air filter. Pull the dipstick and wipe it off. Look at the bottom of the dipstick. It will have crossed lines and should have two tiny holes, one at the bottom of the crossed lines and one at the top of the crossed lines. All of this will be located at the bottom of the dipstick. Pull it back out and look to see where the oil comes to on the stick. If it is above the crossed lines and/or hole, the oil is too full. You would have to tilt the machine on the side the dipstick tube is on and let it pour into a container. If you pour too much out, you will have to refill it to the top hole or risk damaging the engine when it runs. IF it is not overfilled we would have to see it to find the problem. We do not buy m
