On the weekends maybe but I go there every weekday morning at 7:00AM and they are a always open with coffee brewed and ready to go. It's also one of the most customer service oriented coffee shops I know and located in a really cool historical building...The Cotton Exchange building. Love this place.
On the weekends yes, they open at 7:30 am, but weekday hours they open at 6:30 am.
