FYI Archer, we can publicly view all your 629 reviews, basically deciphering exactly where you live and visit. You shouldn't be concerned with facial recognition at Walmart but rather your extensive posting history in Google and other platforms. Your phone is literally spying on you yet you are suspicious of cameras at Wally World?
This is the age of technology, and Ai by all means I welcome it in positive ways to catch criminals and do better business with others, camera recognition has been around for quite some time through the 21st century, as we sit. It's only getting more and more prevalent for our future. Spying cameras have been an age-old additive since the dawn of time when Hollywood created it in the early 1920s and 30s this is nothing to be scared of, embrace it. Unless you're a criminal, you have nothing to worry about.
What difference does it make. You are on camera from the time you leave your house til you get home. Where do you go that you are concerned about Walley world knowing.
They collect shoplifting data, and when someone reaches $1000, they prosecute them for felony theft. (They should just open a trap door and feed them to alligators which would reduce my cost as a customer and my taxes for the criminal justice system.)
Considering I work for Walmart, let me just say that whatever it is they do with it it's an incredible place to work
Lmao they do absolutely nothing!
