If my loan amount for say $500 and I only got $450 that night, is the remaining balance of $50 still available for me to borrow. Or will the entire amount of the Flex Loan need to be paid back in full.

You can go back and borrow the remaining. And when you pay the balance down, they'll keep you updated on available.
