Aldi is one of my favorite stores along with Sprouts, Whole foods, Kroger, Publix, and (of course) Walmart. You see, one can not expect only one store to carry everything you may desire. It is called competition, each specializes, and prices are determined by cost and costs by volume. Even though they do not have the spices you desire at this time, take a look at what they do have and specialize in. They are expanding their organic products and adding vegetarian and vegan options.
They carry the basic spices, but less than larger normal type grocery stores. ALDI is a store from the same company as Trader Joes.
They only have the typical spices for basic recipes.
They don't have very exotic spices and neither sesame nor poppy seeds. They do have good prices for spices like basil, oregano, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, Italian blend, and garlic salt, among others. For sesame and poppy seeds, I recommend going to an ethnic grocery (Nan Dae Mun is good) or getting them on sale at Sprouts.
