First to Jeff, coming from someone who got their cosmetology license over 25 years ago, Floyd's is a barber shop with salon services and there are quite a few men working there too not just women. Not everyone can correctly service African American hair depending on what's requested. Floyd's does have stylists that are familiar with African American hair depending on the service you need, they dont do relaxing etc. If you call the location you'd prefer and tell them what your needs are they will let you know who they have that can fulfill them.
Floyd's is neither a barber shop or 99. It is a salon filled with women I'm sure can cut all kinds of hair
