I agree that it should be open. However, the same thing will happen next year unless residents of plain township voice their opinion at the township meetings. Their claim according to an email from Rob Steinberg is that maintenance costs go up astronomically if they open too soon.
I sent an email on Wednesday. They told me it would be open this coming week, but no specific day given. I agree when the rest of the park is open, so should the dog park be.
They need to open that Park a lot sooner than what they do
Why do communities offer a nice service than after the fact realize there’s a cost involved ? Either they’re short sited incompetent in the matters of running such township services. Often they site money problems to increase the tax base in order to pump up the general fund and other self interest motivating factors on the backs of tax payers. It’s the formula they all use. Ffs
