I was shopping in the Wal-Mart in Moultrie GA a couple of hours ago and I wanted to put a TV on layaway using a $50 gift card!!!! I was told I couldn't!! Is this in fact true or did the lazy workers just not want to do their job?????

I believe layaway has to be started with cash, debit or check. A Gift Card can be used at the end if paying the entire balance off. But to start a layaway and make payments on a layaway I believe it needs to be cash, check or debit only.
