I had the Paella on Saturday for a catered affair. The best paella ever. Hands down. No beans. And ample amounts of seafood. Everyone exclaimed about how good it was. 5stars.

Hi Nelsa! It’s so beautiful that your husband surprised you with dinner. However, I’m not sure that he ordered the Paella from our restaurant. We have not changed our chef or our cooks since we opened 10 years ago and we don’t put beans or serve beans with our paella. Our recipe hasn’t changed and our customers never complain about our delicious Paella. Check our Instagram location and see all the wonderful pictures of our Paella that customers post. Have a great day!

Normally the paella is litebrown not yellow and sometimes depending on how its done the color come out yellowish. A good paella the seafood is cooked first the water of the cooked seafood is use to cooke the rice and when the rice is done the seafood is added to the rice and stir it all up mixing part of the seafood and some is left to decorate the rice on top. The seafood normally used are shimps, lobster (small ones) clams, oesters, small octopus. Do not and its a big NO NO add fish of any kind this will mush the rice and it will taste nasty. Of couse the seasoning and sofrito is added to the water while doing the rice. Tomatoe paste or sause can be use a bit of salt to your taesting and goya sazon this will make the rice some what colored when useing the water of the boild seafood the rice could turn brown or not but it should not be yellow. Bon apetit. Or Buen provecho.

I have no idea which chef made la Paella. I've been to the restaurant numerous times and I never ordered it. Except some patties
