Church isn't about what you are wearing or anyone else is wearing. It's about the presence of God in the church. Sorry you feel this way. Will be praying for you and our community.
Hi anonymous. I am the praise leader in the T-shirt. I dress that way intentionally so that people who don't already go to church and dress that way don't feel out of place when they attend for the first time. I'm sorry if this bothers you, but it is an intentional choice on my part, and also a choice I do not regret. I wish you well and hope you find a church you do feel comfortable attending!
To Anonymous Person: I don't attend Lifespring but live nearby. You noted that everyone was kind and also that the preacher brought a great message. As for your comment about the praise team being in t-shirts, I'm confused about why this is important. Let me ask you a question. Imagine you had lived in Jesus' time - and you actually got to meet him and be in His presence. What a gift and a blessing that would have been... But, would you have turned your back on Him if you didnt like what He was wearing? Just something for you to think about. I think you should go back to Lifespring since you were welcomed and you enjoyed the message. Church is about love, healing and growth. Not judgement. I pray you find this truth in your heart.
