When a state passes a recreational marijuana law it takes anywhere from 6 to 18 months for them to implement the infrastructure , even if it exists in a medical marijuana setting , before they're ready to sell to everybody. California it took about a year and a quarter , Washington State took almost a year , Colorado I'm not sure of , Oregon was the fastest at 6 months. The article I read on Leafly they want to implement adult sales by 4/20/21. You have to remember the marijuana laws are very similar to the alcohol laws no smoking in public , no smoking and driving. Basically just do it like you've always done it be discreet about it if you're going to go behind a bush somewhere or the back of a building but preferably do it in your own home if you are renting a motel room and it's a smoking room they still may not allow it in the room the best bet is to do it on the sidewalk out in front of the room that is still private property once you step into the parking lot it becomes public
Even though prop 207 passed it still won't take effect until March. That's what I was told.
