The first thing to do is to get a complete medical exam to ensure an acurate diagnosis. Fibromyalgia is a diagnosis that is often diagnoased and not always correctly. Sometimes it is diagnosed due to lack of evidence if anything else. The good news is we continue to learn more about this illness and better ways to cope with it. Good luck.
Aerobics is considered a superior way of exercise by studies. However if you don't regularly workout or are active try low impact exercises such as using a spin bike, or a regular bike with outside fresh air should be wonderful during the summer with regular breaks and proper hydration. Swimming is also considered low impact and fun. However I'm not a doctor and you should consider the suggestion of your doctor as well as a specialist to customize one as not all people are the same and what I recommend here may not be suited for you. But I find bikes to be amazing in the summer in a wooded area.
