So sorry for your loss Natalie. I recommend waiting 3-6 months to connect. This will give you time to heal a bit from your grief enough to be open to what spirit will share, and it let's your loved one figure out how they want to connect with a medium (feelings, hearing, visual). I am able to connect to people and pets in spirit, however, all mediums cannot guarantee whom will come through for you. That is why we tell people to be open to receiving whomever connects...keeps the energy flowing. I have a 'tool bag' of methods to connect, so if someone else comes through we can work through that and then ask your person to come through. Hope this helps
She was able to connect with my mom and uncle that passed. It wasnt on purpose. I think its just whoever comes through
