Definitely take a buddy! It's really nice setting against the hills but very isolated. I never saw foot traffic. I liked the trails at Harrah's Run on better. It's more established but still quiet. However, the trails are right next to the casino.
Yes, they have trails, but I would recommend using the buddy system instead of going out alone. Take water and sunscreen.
