Hi Matt, The OMMU now processes applications immediately for those with an active and unrestricted Florida Drivers License or ID Card. As long as the OMMU can verify residency electronically with the DMV you will get instant approval and a temporary card email to you. The physical card can still take a week or two, but you can use your license in the meantime to purchase right away. For those without a FL License or ID, you can expect the process to take between 5 and 10 business days as long as the proper proof of residency documentation was submitted.
I was approved in less than a week initially. My card came a couple weeks after but you can use your driver's license to purchase after the initial approval. Please understand that ive had my card for 3 years so the process may have changed since then. That was just my experience. Good luck
Approved the first day. Once you pay 75 to the state (I paid the same day) you get your digital card a week later. You get your physical card a week later
