I only use parts that are correct for the make and model I'm working on. I subscribe to the Field Service Manual from alldatadiy.com-- $35 annual subscription. Then my repairs done right the first time w/ the correct OEM parts.
That completely depends upon what the gap is on the Spark Plug for ignition. As long as the Spark Plug is the correct length and has the right gap, it should work just fine. But the easiest thing to do would be to take one of the Spark Plugs from your Lincoln and do a comparison with what they have in stock. If they don't have it, I'd recommend asking them to order it, and waiting the day or two it may take for it to get delivered to their location. Broadly, Spark Plugs are made one in the same, the size and length differ with different applications, like Lawn Mowers, Weed Eaters, Single Stroke engines, Two Stroke Engines, etc... Etc... The gap on the end of the Spark Plugs is one of the most important pieces of information, otherwise your engine won't start correctly, if at all.
