Brian's comment is correct...if you are lucky enough to get one of the few parking spots at the bottom of the hill. If he doesn't get one, he has to park about half a mile up the road. The walk is on the road down to the dam. It is paved, but steep. Bad knees or hips will be aggravated before he gets to the dam. There is limited parking right next to the dam. And above the dam. You could drop him off, then if parking is not available, go back up the road and park.

You can park nearby and then it is probably about a 50 ft walk down a slightly rocky, not steep grade. Smooth once you get to the surface near the water.
