Hello. There is a black out period. I believe it is three days. After that your friend should be able to make calls at scheduled times every other day. Hope this helps.
I am not totally sure , I do know that my friend call from the counselors office not sure how long she was there ...sorry . But be patient and hope he gets the help he needs .
