is there a certain age you can be to go alone to get a piercing? I'm 17, would I need a parent w/ me?

Yes, you have to be 18 for a piercing or tattoo. Or you have to have your parent or guardian with you.

You would need to be 18 to be pierced without a parent or authorized guardian with you.

If not of required age 18- up. You need your parents or guardians present.
