Yes, absolutely. To get started, community service volunteers attend the mandatory Volunteer Orientation class. It is offered every 1st and third Thursday of the month. 1st Thursday at noon and third at 5:30pm. I will need to cancel this week's orientation because I am out of town. The next one will be on Wednesday, July 3rd (since Thursday falls on July 4th). Once you complete the orientation, we do a background check (if you do not have more than one violent offense, you will be cleared) and, if cleared, you will be able to start volunteering on the build site, in the ReStore, or in the office. It depends.. if you working on your hours to get a home. Most likely you will have to go out and do your hours at the location they sent you too. Weather permits location
