If a child of 14 watches the mother repeat the words: "I love God more than anything else", then asks: "You love God more than me?", to which the mother replies: "Yes", what type of result is expected for the child as maturity becomes necessary?

If a child of 14 has a mother who loves God more than anyone else, that child will have been taught truth from the Scriptures and will likely also love God more than anyone else also. If the child has not come to faith by age 14, s/he will still respect the Creator and Redeemer, knowing that there is someone higher than ourselves who loved us first.

To understand that god has to be first then everything else will fall into place because god gives you the wisdom and understanding to love others
