Hi, folks! So sorry, we finally found a good content app to help us watch these comments and questions from Google -- so sorry we didn't reply sooner! Just for the record, we do buy some "old" books -- but it depends on what you mean by "old." We can potentially buy some collectible titles, as well as certain classics that are always in demand. If you mean "old" as in 20 or 30 year old mass market, general fiction or dated non-fiction titles, we unfortunately are not able to offer cash for these types of items. As Taylor mentioned, we may be able to offer trade credit for these types of items, depending upon our current stock and demand. Actually, no. They only pay for books published within the last 12 months -- this might be a newer policy, as I see Constance Smith's answer is from 3 months ago -- They will take anything in good condition (that they are not already overstocked on) as a donation for a credit of 20% which can be applied to cover up to half of the cost of any of their previously owned titles.
