No waiting period. They will do a background check when you are ready to purchase. You will fill out an apolication and show valid state ID. The background takes a little while, but once cleared you can complete your o purchase. Call the shop if you have questions.

Not under NM law. The only reason for s delay is if the NICS review delays its determination. This is a minority of the time. In that case, the delay is up to 3 business days, unless approved in the interim. Hope that helps.
