I would like to learn Magic The Gathering (Commander). Do you take beginners? I’d also like to get back into D&D. The rules have changed a bit since I played 20+ years ago. Is there a way I can get into a group? Lol…I’m a “senior citizen” too.

The simple answer to all of those questions are YES

Absolutely! We exist to help people of all skill levels- we can get you back up to speed with more recent MTG, and coordinate a table for you to join if you'd like to play DND for the first time. Sundays at 6PM is our biggest Commander event, free play that's open to absolutely anyone at any power or skill level. You can come in any day of the week to prepare, let us know exactly what you've said here, and we can guide you through a beginner game of Magic and then get you either a PreConstructed Commander Deck or help you navigate building your own if you want to reclaim an old play style! As for D&D, any Dungeon Master that we have will be very accommodating to a new player. Every Wednesday (generally beginning at 6PM or 7PM, going until 10PM) is open D&D. Currently, we have three tables of the same Icewind Dale campaign, and you'd be welcome to come in a bit early, meet the DMs, and see what group you might want to join.
