Why don't Greyhound require people to wear mask or sit at least a seat apart?

The first day of our trip they didn't care if anyone wore a mask or sat apart. On the way back a few days later, the same guard was yelling at people to put their masks on! Depends on who's working or whatever their mood is that day I guess. The place smells like pee. There are scary people in there who look like they will eat your face if you look at them wrong.

They are money hungry flies!! I went to my for 15 hours & there were No Seats Empty! I thought the mask was mandatory but if the driver can't see in the back then I've seen some take theirs off.

Not sure about greyhound. But New Jersey does you have to wear your mask on and on the bus.
