I'm not sure how they work. But a lady was showing me her windows, and when she opened slide up and then took it out, and put it back in, the window will not stay up now. What's wrong with it?

She did not get the window back into the pivot points of the balancers. There are pivot bars at the bottom corners of the sash (part of the window she removed) they go into a slot in each side of the window frame. I'm a window installer and NT windows are a product I'm very familiar with..
