It's part of the culture Alamo is known for. They take pride in not pandering to the customer is always right mentality and brand themselves for "ejecting" those that interfere with the movie experience.
This theater actually has extremely strict policies, and will remove people who are on their phones during movies
Because most teenagers are rowdy and like to be on their phones during the movie. You might not be a trouble maker but others have ruined it for you.
They also serve alcohol here. But mostly the rowdy teens.
Most of the movies they show are of an adult nature. There are some you can see if you're a teen, but for the most part, the age restriction stands.
