Try transit app update warning, delay, service repairs, advance update time schedule when bus/subway is approaching
There are several factors that can lead to delays. For more information, I suggest installing Citymapper on your phone (available on iOS and Android) and then selecting NYC as the current city. You can view subway alerts that way.
