Mmm! I would think they would of handled that better. It makes me think more of not going there to buy things, I bought some stuff and when I do a project I buy extra stuff just in case I need more or mess up. I brought back the extra and they charged me to return the extra stuff. So their military discount dont amount to much with some stuff i brought there compared to another place.
How long do they tell you the part would take? What brand did you buy? Did they tell you it would be fixed by now? If they've given you any false information then call the manager or supervisor the Appliance Department to see if you can just exchange the refrigerator for a brand new one without going through the hassle. I have never had any problems with Home Depot and they are always very customer-friendly. If I were you I would try to resolve this with them eternally.
