Most vendors accept debit / credit cards. All take cash. If you find that you don't have cash or the vendor doesn't accept credit card, you can go to the Market Manager's tent (orange color) and get market tokens in $5 increments. These tokens can be used as cash with all vendors and change can be given in exchange.
Most take cards or venmo, I have not needed cash in the past couple of seasons
