There is a sign that says the park is closed and the gate is locked? Why would that be?

I found out that someone was severely injured over the weekend.

Sorry but I have never heard of it locked down in the daytime. Call park office. They might have some answers. Just learned a child fell and got hurt and a 4 year old was struck by falling rocks and had to be airlifted. 🙏
