The Texas DMV says that a used car may be covered under the so-called lemon law so long as your used car is “still covered by the manufacturer's original warranty (not an extended service contract).” ... The same caution applies to a used car dealer, although many do offer their own warranties on the cars they sell.Aug 13, 2015
Same thing happened to me. Worse mistake buying from this place and scam artist.
I haven't had any issues with them except when I let my insurance expire once. When I called up there to pay my car note they had a major attitude with me and kept putting me on hold. I called back three times and was placed on hold three times for over 10 minutes each time. The 4th time I called back I asked him what the problem was and they finally told me you don't have any insurance you need to speak to the manager but he's in a meeting. I was like damn you could have told me he was in a meeting I'm at work and you have me on hold for unacceptable amounts of time I could have just called back. So I ended up calling back and speaking to the manager by that time I had already got some more insurance and then their whole attitude changed and they were nice again. So make sure you keep your insurance then they treat you like a valued customer.
Be patient they are very good at helping.
