Cattleman's DOES NOT take reservations AND 90% of your party MUST be there to be seated; UNLESS, you make a LARGE party of 20 or more reservation AND make a deposit .
You don't need to make a reservation, but it depends on the day you go. So I would recommend it, and you can make it for the same day
We went around 7pm on a Tuesday. They asked if we had reservations, but we did not. We waited maybe 10 min to be seated.
Honestly I went with a few others and we didn't make reservations and they had some large groups there. I don't think it's necessary
It is recommended that you make reservation. You can do it same day after 12pm
