The lighthouse is absolutely within walking distance unless you have mobility issues. It's probably less than a half mile walk. My house is way farther away and it takes me 20 minutes to walk to Bridges Waterside Grille where I work. The same goes for the zoo, Lighthouse Premium Outlets, and Blue Chip Casino.
Not sure how far the lighthouse is, but not walking distance.
